If you are getting screwed by PennyMac, then here is some advice.

These are the measures that I am having to take after they required an entire forced placed homeowners policy redundant to my already existing policy. They want me to pay them over $4,0000 and almost

double the amount of my monthly mortgage payments. So I got an attorney, and now it's time to sue! You can too!!

1) Notify the Santa Barbara BBB and file a formal complaint. The more complaints, the lower their ratings. It also forces companies like PennyMac to respond.

2) Notify the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and file a complaint. They will Weโ€™ll update the complaint database on their website: consumerfinance.gov/ComplaintDatabase to alert the public. The complaint database shows which companies get the most disputes from consumers. They will also use your feedback and the feedback other consumers give them about this company to help them make decisions about which issues and companies to investigate.

They also share your complaint with the Federal Trade Commission, which will add your complaint to its database for state and federal law enforcement agencies. And once again, it forces companies like PennyMac to respond.

Lastly, get yourself an attorney, or go to Legal Service Corp. website at www.lsc.gov, search for your city, state or zip in the "Find Legal Aid" portion of the website if you are in need of financial assistance or lower attorney fees. Don't lose your home to these scammers! Go after them and make them responsible for their fraudulent actions!! Good Luck!

Reason of review: Problems with payment.

Pennymac Cons: Service and procedures, Unwilling to own their mistakes.

Location: Hawaii County, Hawaii

I am going through the same thing, and going to follow your advice to the T. These people have ruined my credit, charged me for forced insurance even though I have provided them with proper coverage.

Even this week I received another letter requesting increase on insurance premium to which my insurance is already over their required amount.

When I put them on the phone they increased the amount verbally from the mount on the letter. This bank is a scam and are probably robbing people blind.

Thank you for your advice! They stole my home.

I tried to do a modification under the HAM Act.

and they would not comply to any of the federal guide lines. They are just a bunch of thieves and they need to be brought down!

The BBB is worthless. Never use them, never trust them, and certainly never recommend them to solve serious matters.

They have successfully pulled one of the biggest scams in business history by fooling the public that they are a government "entity". They are a 100% private company that is 100% financed by the companies that they rate.

Pay them enough, and the "government" (oops, I mean the BBB) can turn your *** business into a A+ rated company. Everybody wins...except for good businesses that refuse to pay them, and all consumers.
