I made an extra mortgage payment in December 2015. Should have been a simple process. However, PennyMac has literally screwed up the accounting so bad, they actually had me owing more money and not less. In stead of a payment reduction they posted the extra payment as an "early" payment and had me paid two months in advance. I have tried to help a service family stop a foreclosure and work on a short sale. I have given them a good offer. they told me for 8 days that they did not have my authorization to speak to them I still forward the offer on 4/27/2016 i finally got a person to acknowledge they got it on 5/3 and on 5/10 a negotiator contacted me to ask for more documents. I send in my mortgage payment every month on the 3 rd of every month they charge me late fees then they call me and tell me im late a week later it goes to texas i even sent it one time next day from post office someone signed for it and they called me saying it was late the need to get there act together about peoples mortgages im really upset about this really thank you Add comment

Same here - our claim was tiny, the checks they are holding total $6492 and even their own policy is to return endorsed checks back to the customer when the amount is under $10K. Because the insurance company paid the water remediation company directly and it shows up in the Xactimate, PennyMac is using that as the rationale for holding the checks (puts the claim over $10K). After a tree fell on my house in February, Allstate resolved the claim quickly and courteously. However, PennyMac has seen fit to withhold the insurance money despite receiving requested documents and a 95% completion inspection report. My loan had went from JP Morgan to PennyMac, due to certain life events I had to try and sell the home. I give them no stars hear the name run the other way. They sit on your money and make promises and lies. I'm still waiting on my insurance money to fix my house and still making my house payments even though I'm not living in it. Add comment

We lost quite a bit of income this year. In order tho maintain our good credit we asked Pennymac for a loan remodification. We were turned down. .We have tho be on the *** of foreclosure before they will help. I was told quote.you will have tho do the Best you can till wee foreclose on your property.
